My sister came to visit from London!

365 in 2014

All that was left after a four course dinner for seven people at
my flat. I contributed by eating and drinking. You're welcome.

Super gutted that last Tuesday was the first day this year that I forgot to
take a photo. I got myself some boots to cheer me up.
Plus it's definitely autumn now, so I kinda need them

And because I forgot Tuesday, you get two Wednesday photos this week

First night out drinking in a while, due to being sick for aaaaaages

365 in 2014

It's feijoa season! These guys are one of my favourite fruit

This week we had a spate of warm sunny days, so I tried to
make the most of it by getting outside whenever I could

Finally got around to going to El Matador for dinner.
And ate my own weight in meat. It was amazing

A lunchtime walk. The sea was looking VERY swimable

My bestie is having a baby real soon! I helped to plan her shower and made
the chocolate pumpkin cake from last week again - but this time
with some bebe themed decorations

Over 4 years later, I finally got a canvas framed that I
bought in a favela in Rio de Janeiro. So happy with the
result and now I get to look at it every day, instead of it
languishing, wrapped up in my wardrobe

Had a fancy glass of champagne to celebrate
accepting a fancy new job

One of my favourite things to cook - a yummy vegetarian curry (without all
Jamie's extra side dishes) and made with korma paste instead of rogan josh

Decided to do some practice - only the third time I've done so since I
finished my beginner course of guitar lessons, oh about....6 months ago

Picked up my Colour Run gear for Sunday!

A few days of being sick and trying not to go out meant trying to
entertain myself at home. Annabel Langbein's Surprise Chocolate Cake
turned out pretty good - the surprise being that it's got pumpkin in it!

Managed to do the Colour Run although I had to walk it due to still being
sick. But so much fun!

365 in 2014

I bought this lantern in Vietnam last year and still haven't found a good
place to put it up

I paid a visit to the Mood Bank and made a deposit

Made a pretty good vege frittata. My go-to when I don't have much
in the kitchen

Pub quiz night - the Dyslexic Brians came third!

Went to see Louis Baker at the newly 'refurbished' San Francisco
Bathhouse. Very talented dude, but the music was a bit too soulful
for my mood

Made some Spicy Mexican Hot Chocolate Cookies for a Mexican party
I went to. I tried to think of something original to make and they
were pretty damn good, if I do say so myself.
