It's totes slippers and tea weather now.
Not very exciting, but this Monday went
home-work-gym-home-shower-dinner-couch-bed.
And it was the best.

Cute graffiti

My final visit to Mighty Mighty :(

Beautiful flowers - happy birthday to me!

Amazingly delicious cheeseburgers with special sauce by a favourite Kiwi
chef (who I drunkenly met in a bar a couple of weeks ago)

Drinks at a really cool pub - complete with a gypsy brass band -
with at a group of awesome peeps, to celebrate getting old

9pm baking for a work bake sale fundraiser. Used this recipe from
another Kiwi blogger and cookbook writer I follow. This is my
go-to recipe for cookies - so quick and easy; so chewy-yet-crunchy delicious

Playing with my camera settings - a favourite pair of earrings

New job = new neighbourhood and new sights

A pretty ceiling at an inner city Mediterranean restaurant

I made a yummy beetroot salsa with leftover roast beetroot from the previous
Sunday's roast dinner. I ate it in some wraps with meatballs.
Probably should've taken this photo before most of it was eaten

A stunning day in Wellington

I planted a Cape Gooseberry bush that my friend gave me from her garden.
I hope I don't kill it. The edible fruit look like this

a big rain shower

"SkyBlues is light energy, the verticals and drawn lines that
move, shimmer, swirl blue in cityscape"

Chorizo and bean cassoulet on a cold night

Last day at old job. Man, I'll miss this view

New wall decoration. A photographer friend let me use one of his
awesome photos and I got it printed onto a canvas

2 for 1 margaritas on a Monday.
And sadly the last night in Wellington for a special visitor

I just loved what was going on at our table that day

Dinner out with friends

Cosy by the fire for pub quiz night

A spirited poem for a Friday night.
And also the day a special little person was born

A new addition to our flat deserved a sign - one which I cannot take credit for

Went to an excellent night of stand up comedy as part of
The Comedy Festival. And as one comedian out it, we built a fucking school!
In Burma! Well, our money will help to

View of Mt Cook from Lake Hooker - a nice wee two hour hike

A rainy Monday evening at a bar inside a bus, in Christchurch

Nothing like a bit of CCR to kick start a morning

Pedro at Pan de Muerto, a very excellent Mexican restaurant

My friends and I did a Spanish tapas evening at my place.
Geez I have some talented cooks for friends! Everything was so delicious.
Aw shucks Newtown!
Walking the town belt on a sunny Saturday

Rhubarb and apple crumbles on a chilly autumn Sunday night.
The fruit came from my aunt's garden in Martinborough
